Bagvertising

“Forget words like ‘hard sell’ and ‘soft sell.’ That will only confuse you. Just be sure your advertising is saying something with substance, something that will inform and serve the consumer, and be sure you’re saying it like it’s never been said before.”

-William Bernbach

Many brands are looking in some very unexpected places to advertise to their consumers…I think that the idea of ‘bagvertising,’ or using shopping bags as advertisements, is very clever and a great way to catch consumer’s attention….check out what some of the brands are doing with their shopping bags…

Not only is bagvertising just plain clever and incredibly interesting, but it’s also a really quick and easy way to gain a lot more brand awareness and to expose consumers living in other geographical regions to your brand.  Furthermore, combining this bagvertising with other guerilla tactics (like non-traditional ads on subways, buses, airports, etc.) would really get your brand noticed and be really effective!

until tomorrow…peace&love
